Through four games this season, Michigan State’s Javon Ringer has rushed for 699 yards on 143 carries (a 4.9 yard-per-carry average) and 11 touchdowns. He has rushed for more than 200 yards in two straight games and is on pace to rush for more than 2,000 yards and score more than 30 touchdowns.
As the focal point of the offense, as long as he stays healthy, he will continue to see a large number of carries and should come close to those numbers, yet he is not taken seriously nationally as a Heisman Trophy candidate. Read more »
